Pre-Kindergarten

Attention Parents/Guardians

Beginning this week, all children should not be brought to school until 7:30 Am.  Please do not bring your children to school earlier than 7:30 AM.

What is Pre-K up to?

Letter to Parents

Dear Parents/Family Members, 

This week we will explore the letter Ee.  Ask your child if he/she can tell you the sound that Ee makes Practice saying words that begin with letter Ee, such as, egg, elephant, elbow and elevator.  In math we will work on rote counting to 20.  We  will continue with the theme My Five Senses.  Parents are always welcome to come into the classroom and read to the children or share your culture.  

Halloween Party

     

We will have our Halloween party on Tuesday, October 31st.  We will have a sign-up sheet for food items that family members can bring to the party.  Family members are welcome to come to the party.  Your child can bring a costume on party day and will be able to change into their costume for the party.  Please come early to help your child change into their costume if you can.  The class party will begin at 2:05 PM

Family Literacy Night

   

Wednesday, October 25th from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM we will have a literacy night for all our students and their families.  Come enjoy some fun activities that promote skills for reading and writing.

Box Tops for Education

  

We are still collecting Box Tops for Education.  this fundraiser will continue through September. Please check your cereal boxes, Kleenex boxes and other grocery items for the Box Tops for Education labels.  Let's see if Pre-K can bring in the most box tops!
